Karachi Institute of Economics & Technology is a leading chartered higher education Institute in the province of Sindh, Pakistan. The Institute has four colleges in the domains of Management Sciences, Engineering, Computer Sciences and Media & Arts. At present, the Institute operates at three campuses in Karachi and has over 5000 students. The College of Management Sciences offers a number of undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degree programs in the areas of finance, accounting, marketing, human resource management and supply chain management. The College regularly organizes international conferences, seminars, workshops and trainings to promote research endeavors aimed at tackling contemporary challenges and contributing towards the betterment of society.
With this spirit, the College of Management Sciences is organizing the 3rd International Research Conference on Business & Management (IRCBM-2020) at the Karachi Institute of Economics & Technology (KIET), Main Campus, Korangi Creek, Karachi on 1st & 2nd April, 2020. The theme of the conference is “Redefining Business Opportunities in Emerging Markets”.

Dr. Michael M Dent
Sunway University, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Dr. Michael Dent’s work experience is within the Service sector and mainly in Tourism and Logistics. He made the decision to switch to an Academic/Portfolio career to widen his horizons in 2007. Current skill set primarily based upon strategic marketing and complex international project management. Strong team building, communications and cross-cultural skills. Dr. Michael was taught Pedagogical skills whilst on the research degree programme at London Business School where he graduated with an M.Phil. Previously he had completed an MSc at City University Business School (CASS). He also holds the professional Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, of which he is a Full Member. Since then he has also taught Marketing Management at University of Antarabangsa Islam Malaysia and spent a year as a Visiting Senior Lecturer at University of Malaya. He later worked at HELP University in Kuala Lumpur where he taught Corporate Strategy and International Communications/Negotiation Skills on partner programmes. Michael has also taught in Vietnam, Indonesia and Nepal. His previous expertise in Market Segmentation, Product Development and Pricing and as a past member of the UK Superbrands Council has led to him presenting at many external conferences in Europe, the United States, Australia and Malaysia.
Dr. Rayenda Brahmana
University of Malaysia Sarawak, Malaysia
Dr. Rayenda Brahmana is an Associate Professor of Accounting and Finance Department, University of Malaysia Sarawak. He is also Director of the Centre for Business, Economics, and Finance Forecasting. He graduated with a PhD from USM, Malaysia and has an MSc in Investment from the University of Birmingham, England. Dr. Rayenda Brahmana has published papers in reputable journals including International Journal of Economic Policy in Emerging Economies, Economics Bulletin, and Research in International Business and Finance. He is also the Associate Managing Editor of the International Journal of Business and Society, indexed in Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), EBSCO, ProQuest and Scopus. His research interests are in the areas of behavioral finance, corporate finance and financial economics.
Dr. Bruno Roque Cignacco

Dr. Bruno Roque Cignacco has a PhD in management with a focus on international marketing from the National University of Rosario. He is an international business consultant, international speaker and business coach. For over 20 years, he has advised and trained hundreds of companies on international trade activities and international marketing. Dr. Bruno is also a Principal Lecturer in Marketing at GSM London. He teaches international marketing, marketing management, research methods, product innovation, and public relationships. He has also taught business modules at other universities such as Birkbeck University, Lancaster University, University of Wales, University of Central Lancanshire and several international universities. He is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) UK. Dr. Bruno is a Master Life Coach and Master NLP Practitioner. He is also the author of business books such as Fundamentals of International Marketing SMEs, which has been published in several languages, including English, Spanish and Portuguese. He is also the author of Techniques of International Negotiation, and personal development books published in different languages. His new book is titled “The Art of Compassionate Business: Main Principles for Human-Oriented Enterprise” published by Routledge in 2019.

- All submissions to the conference should be made through email at email@example.com
- Submission of abstracts, research papers and case studies should be in Microsoft Word file format.
- The abstract submission must also include the title, names and institutional affiliation of authors, email address of the corresponding author and keywords.
- Research papers and case studies (including references) should adhere with the APA format and not exceed 7000 words.
- All conference submissions should be free from plagiarism and abide by ethical guidelines contained in the APA publications manual.
