Applicants must have:

• 4-Year Formal University Education (BBA 4 years, M.A. Economics, M.Com, MBA) from a HEC recognized institution in a relevant field.
• GRE or NTS entrance examination as per HEC criteria.
• Graduate Admission Interview with the Graduate Program Committee.

Additional Requirement: Students who do not meet the eligibility criteria must undergo 11 Business Administration pre-req courses as per HEC requirement.

Thesis Requirements:

• Thesis must be successfully defended in front of the Thesis Examination Committee.
• Students who want to pursue PhD are recommended to take the Thesis route.
• MS Thesis can be completed in a minimum of two regular semesters.
• Research work may be extended up to a maximum of two years (not recommended).
• Student must remain continuously enrolled in the thesis/project (3 credits) in each semester till completion.
• Thesis/Research Project is offered after completion of MS coursework.

Courses in lieu of Thesis:

• Course 1: Business Process Re-engineering
• Course 2: Managerial Policy

Q: What is the duration of MS Program?
Minimum duration is 2 years for full-time students and 4 years (8 semesters) for part-time students. Maximum duration for full-time is 3 years.

Q: What is the total credit hour requirement?
Total program is 33 credit hours (36 credit hours including thesis). For 16 years non-business degree holders, total is 66 credit hours.

Q: What specializations are available?
Specializations include Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and Project Management.

Q: Is thesis mandatory?
Students may choose between Thesis or Research Project (6 credit hours). For PhD aspirants, thesis route is recommended.

Q: What is the graduation requirement?
Minimum 2.5 CGPA is required for graduation.
